Outlaw - That's some bit of kit, how are you going to work out damage limitation :o, will it be 100% kill ? what sort of distance will you get with it?   Scorpy

I haven't had the chance to push it to its limits but it is operating very well in the 250-270 ft range right now.  Because of its looks its a little hard to get out and test fire it.  I want to see like 300 something ft out of it.

Outlaw - RPG looks very good,  MilesTag First I think!  would be great if you could change the sounds to a real RPG, should try lifting the sound from a war soundboard.  But all in all a great job, wonder what Jim will make of it.  Scorpy

I've got the sound's prepped.  I have a micro board however and do not have a chip with the sound firmware...  its on the list.

First combat kill this weekend.   The vehicle was very well defended but eventually with its third and last shot and the 5th person to try we managed to take out a vehicle with the rpg during a game.

Go to 8:10 if you are not interested in Airsoft but are interested in the rpg.  If you look close you can see the sensor's were knocked off the roll-bar but from what I can see the sensor was still facing the right way so i still think the first guy missed.

RPG's keep the machine gunners scared.

New launcher and old.

New RPG-26 was a success much more solid one piece form easier to use.

Sensor system is driving me insane as you can see players LOVE to block it but if i put it anywhere else branches will tear the thing off the vehicle!!!!!!

Outlaw - what sort of sensor rig are you looking for, give me an idea of what you need and I'll see if it can make it  in solid acrylic resin.  Scorpy

Probably need some time to think, its easier to bitch about something than solve it.

The problem statement is 2 fold.  I need sensors distributed in a way that the rpg gunner shoots at the vehicle not the sensors.  So they need to be distributed on 4 sides.  Also they need to be tough as the trucks often go through hell.

So thinking fast for the sake of discussion.  If I had 4 strands of 5 spread out by 6 inches.  I could then attach them to the vehicle by tape or magnet or velcro and they would be numerous enough and spread out enough to ensure no one side can be blocked by something like a branch or player.

Lets start with that and see what you think about it.
