ISD1790 recorded with a CORE work on a uMT?
« on: October 21, 2013, 02:55:42 AM »
Hi all,

Can you use a ISD1790 recorded with a Core PCB on a uMT?
Or on the uMT you must record the ISD1790 with the uMT recorder firmware?

Thanks,
Regards

The sounds in the CORE are in a different order than in the UMT so it would only be partially successful.
E.g. the Game Over sound is at position 14 on CORE and position 12 on UMT.

Hi Tony I would like to change two of the sounds on our core boards, but a bit scared to muck about with them.  How easy is it to change them?

Hi Steve
Dead easy. Have a look at http://www.lasertagparts.com/mtsounds.htm to make sure your new sounds are not too long. Then replace the .wav files in the CORE sound editor with your new file, making sure they are named with the same filenames as the old ones.

Or send 'em to me and I'll do it for you (or fix 'em if you bust it ;0)
