Yea,but after your explanation about the lens efficiency, question is no more valid :-P.

Hi berk,

A simple mathematical relation to get about 100% efficiency will be like this

FL=(radius of the lens used)/ tan(half beam angle of the source).

For e.g if we want to use 40mm diameter lens for TSAL6100 IR led then lens focal length must be

FL= 20/tan(10)
     =20/0.176
     =113 mm

Thank you, berk undoubtedly it is a fine explanations...

So,if I reduced the FL keeping the diameter fixed it will increase the efficiency right... :-)

Thank you again.

Hi,
Can anyone tell me is there will be any problem if I use 40mm or 25mm diameter 10cm focal length lens for my tagger.I am using TSAL6100 IR LED.

Hi,
Thank you Berk and radm, it is solved now culprit was the speaker itself,I used rated speaker and the problem gone..

Yea,I have measure the value it's give random value from 40-80 ohms,I am using speaker used for mobile phones. But most surprisingly heating not taking place for all the speaker or all the TDA7052, it is also random.

Thank you.

Thanks berk, yes when I connect the speaker then only TDA7052 getting heated.that means resistance of my speaker is low? Can I use a series resistance to compensate the value?

Thanks

Thanks Berk,
Can you tell me that existing hex file work with PIC18F2620 or not?? And how long a 2000mAH battery will be able to run MTCore board??

thanks

Hi Berk,

Thanks for your reply, I am from India and i have checked with this web store but main problem is the courier charge is too much high for India to deliver the item.Anyway i trying to collect them.but i have the datasheet of these two Pic microcontroller and found that PIC18F2620 have more flash memory than 2525.Please look the attached file. Can you suggest me any alternative for L4941 , IRLD110 and ISD1790

Thanks

Hi Jim,

What is the difference between Rev H and Rev J PCB board as well as in the Firm wire?? I cross checked the Rev J PCB brd file and found some missing connection on it. Like Pic pin number 25 not connected and pullup (+5v) resistor not connected to positive value on pic pin number 25,26 and 28.

Thanks

Hi,Milestone Administrator.
Can you please upload the complied hex file of core system for microcontroller PIC18F2620 or PIC18F452 as PIC18F2525 is not available in our region.
And is there any replacement chip for ISD1790PY.??
Thanks.
